I had been seeing Dr. Michael for about 6 weeks when my back went severely out. I could barely walk, let alone pick up my 16 month old. I went to see Dr. Mike the next day so that he could adjust me. He adjusted me, used laser therapy and recommended I come back once again later that day, which I did.

The next day my back felt normal without any pain; I could stand without holding on to anything, walk comfortably and most importantly: pick up my baby without severe pain.
I truly appreciate Dr. Mike’s professionalism, his concern for his patients and his willingness to help his patients get better. I have recommended Dr. Mike to my friends and family and will continue to do so. All of my children have benefited from his care and are growing healthy and happy due to chiropractic care. I feel blessed to have Dr. Mike as part of our family health team.

The day I was referred to the chiropractor, Dr. Michael Ontiveros, in El Paso, Texas, by my dad was the day my life changed. Little did I know that I would no longer have to suffer from the pain I endured from injuries I sustained over 2 years ago while serving in the U.S. Army.  I thought Dr. Ontiveros would tell me that nothing was wrong, just like the Army and the VA did but after my examination and x-rays he confirmed what I already knew.  He explained what was going on with my body and told me was confident he could prescribe a course of treatment to correct my numerous physical ailments and place me firmly on the road to recovery. I didn’t want to get my hopes up and be disappointed because no one else has been able to help me but I thought it was worth it to try.  My conditions would either change for the better or remain the same.

I was very limited to what I could do during these past 2 years I’d been suffering from pain. The little things so many take for granted, including myself, were taken from me.  I wasn’t able to walk, sit, or stand more than 10 minutes because the pain became unbearable.  I thought I wouldn’t be able to live the fulfilling life that I had always imagined. After I began treatment with Dr. Ontiveros everything changed. My attitude, my hopes, and my health.  I started improving during the first week and from then on, nothing but improvements.

Desert Sun Chiropractic’s environment is very welcoming. Sarah, Dr. Ontiveros wife who works with him, is one of the sweetest and friendliest people I’ve ever met and she made me feel very welcomed. Dr. Ontiveros is very optimistic and has an attitude that is nothing less than encouraging and uplifting.  His knowledge, enthusiasm and dedication in helping others made me feel relaxed and gave me hope that my body would heal. I’m now able to do almost everything I could do before I was injured. He has given me my life back.  Dr. Ontiveros was the answer to my prayers and I will be forever grateful to him.
